DYSTORIA, a 6-axis space shooter with an 80’s arcade vibe. DYSTORIA is a diabolical zero-g space labyrinth in which you are trapped as an experiment.
DYSTORIA combines a unique style of 6-axis gameplay with action packed space battles, stunning visuals and mind-bending level design all backed by an original 80’s style synthwave soundtrack.
In DYSTORIA your ship hovers along any surface in any direction. As the player navigates each sector they may find that what seems like a simple navigation can be quite complex as their orientation changes with every turn.
The concept for DYSTORIA was birthed in July 2015. The early prototype was so well received that Tri-Coastal games put all other projects on hold in order to focus on DYSTORIA.
Tri-Coastal Games is a two-man game development team based in Three Hills, Alberta, Canada.
Craig Grierson and Daryl Wilson began working together in 2014, developing game assets and prototyping games in their spare time. Tri-Coastal Games was officially formed in late 2015 to facilitate the production of DYSTORIA, the debut release from TCG.
